Police have opened a culpable homicide docket following the death of four people in a crash involving a sedan and a minibus-taxi between Kokstad and Mount Ayliff in the Eastern Cape.
Out of the five occupants that were in the sedan, two men and two women were declared dead on the scene.
One male occupant of the sedan and the minibus-taxi driver sustained injuries and were rushed to Mount Ayliff provincial hospital for medical attention.
Eastern Cape Department of Transport spokesperson Unathi Binqose has urged people to drive cautiously.
