South Africa has recorded a further 9 320 COVID-19 infections in the last 24-hour cycle. This brings the accumulative number of cases to 1739 425.
One hundred and fourteen COVID-19-related deaths have also been recorded, taking the national toll to 57 706.

Gauteng has recorded well over 50% of the new infections with 5 902.
