Police have launched a manhunt for those responsible for the shooting and wounding of a policeman in Kraaifontein, in Cape Town’s northern suburbs, on Sunday.
Police spokesperson Andrè Traut says two officers were pursuing suspects in Scottsville after a gang fight in the area.
One of the officers was shot and wounded in the leg.
The officer has been admitted to the hospital.
